CJ Biomaterials, Revelop Take Home Prestigious Red Dot Design Award for PHA Head-Up Toothbrush

CJ Biomaterials, Inc., a subsidiary of South Korea's CJ CheilJedang and a manufacturer of polyhydroxyalkanoate (PHA) biopolymers, has received the 2023 German Red Dot Design Award for its PHA Head-Up Toothbrush, developed in collaboration with Revelop, an eco-friendly design specialist. Crafted using a combination of industrially compostable polylactic acid (PLA) and PHA, instead of traditional petroleum-based plastics, this toothbrush offers an enhanced environmental profile. It was honored in the "Sustainable" category within the Design Concept discipline as part of the awards program.
