GO!PHA Partners in ANIPH: Advancing PHA for Humanitarian Applications
GO!PHA is pleased to be a partner and collaborator in ANIPH (Avoiding the Negative Impacts produced by Plastic materials in Humanitarian contexts)—a new European Horizon 2025 project exploring PHA-based wound dressings and packaging for crisis situations. ANIPH’s primary focus is to develop wound dressings and flexible, water-resistant packaging made from PHBV, a type of PHA, offering a biodegradable alternative to single-use fossil-based plastics in war and natural disaster zones, where waste management is often a challenge.
