TotalEnergies Corbion and Bluepha Collaborate to Advance Sustainable Fiber Solutions in China

TotalEnergies Corbion has entered into a collaborative venture with Bluepha to propel the development of sustainable fibers using Luminy® PLA and Bluepha® PHA. Established in May 2023, this strategic partnership aims to advance the applications and development of Polylactic Acid (PLA) and Polyhydroxyalkanoates (PHA) products within the Chinese market.
 

In the fiber industry, process enhancements play a pivotal role in achieving color stability and environmental protection. TotalEnergies Corbion and Bluepha are working collaboratively to address challenges in the dyeing process of blended fibers, focusing on issues such as uneven dyeing and fiber thermal stability arising from varying molecular structures.
