The (Dutch) National Growth Fund has made €338 million available for the BioBased Circular project

The BioBased Circular project, supported by more than 125 organizations, including Topsector Agri & Food and the platform Green Chemistry, New Economy (GCNE), has received €338 million from the National Growth Fund!

This initiative aims to establish new production chains between the chemical industry and suppliers of biobased materials, with the goal for the Netherlands to become a leader in green chemistry. Promising scale-ups like GO!PHA Member, Paques Biomaterials, are already actively involved in scaling up the technology.

This transition holds great potential for a sustainable future, creating jobs and boosting the Dutch economy.
